OpenScape Mobile also changes the mobile communications paradigm with OpenScape Communication Gestures, innovative new communications features that leverage the advanced technologies available in today’s smartphones to make access to advanced communications functions easier and more intuitive than ever before.

OpenScape Call Swipe is the first Communication Gesture, enabling users to seamlessly transfer a call from their mobile device to a nearby desktop phone – and vice-versa – with little more than a simple finger swipe across the touch screen. OpenScape Call Swipe even enables users to move from the cellular network to a local WLAN using SIP-based voice-over-WLAN so that users can avoid cellular usage and roaming fees.

OpenScape MobileConnect

OpenScape MobileConnect works with a wide range of IP-based PBX systems to support on-site calling with mobile phones and smartphones via the WLAN, and also negotiate seamless handover of calls between the cellular network and the WLAN. It reduces costs and improves off-site productivity by providing network information and services via the carrier network.

OpenScape UC Mobile Client

OpenScape UC Application includes a Mobile Client that allows mobile users to set their presence status, notifies them of the presence of their key contacts and gives them quick access to conferences, among many other features. The Mobile Client runs on the popular mobile operating systems including Blackberry (RIM), Symbian, Nokia, HP, Windows, and Apple.

OpenScape Web Collaboration Mobile Client

Users with the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or other smartphone can easily participate in an OpenScape Web Collaboration web conferencing session from anywhere via the OpenScape Web Collaboration Mobile Client. We have developed a free-to-download native application for for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, and other smartphones can use the OpenScape Web Collaboration Mobile Client web browser. Mobile users can view the moderator’s desktop or application, view all participants, IM chat and video chat.

HiPath Cordless

This solution allows on-campus workers to make calls via DECT and WLAN. Workers are free to trouble-shoot, problem-solve and collaborate anywhere on site without missing important calls or running up expensive mobile carrier charges.
