Product Certification

Demonstrate product and service interoperability with our certification program

Product certification allows us to demonstrate interoperability of our products to those of our technology partners. We provide published, standardized interfaces to connect third-party products and the interoperability of our partners’ products with is verified by our test laboratories. A successfully tested integration receives a respective certificate: "OpenScape Ready", "HiPath Ready" or "OpenStage Ready".

Certification benefits

A technology partner benefits twice from such a certified interoperability:

• Depending on the certification, the technology partner is allowed to call its product "OpenScape Ready", "HiPath Ready” or "OpenStage Ready” and to use the respective certification logo together with the respective product;
• The certificate states that the involved technology partner has used our published, standardized interfaces in the way released and documented. As a consequence, a certified integration of a partner product with one of our Open Communications systems is covered by our global support organization as far as the involved published, standardized interfaces are affected.

We help our technology partners keep their product certifications current with free-of-charge testing days. The validity of a particular certification depends on the product and version on each side and we inform technology partners prior to enhancements of our published, standardized interfaces.
