Vera Meyer is Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Siemens Enterprise Communications, with specific responsibility for technical operations.
Meyer has extensive experience as a senior executive and manager at Siemens and its subsidiaries. She has particular expertise in operations, supply chain management, business administration and sales.
Previously, Meyer oversaw operational management at Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG, with subsequent responsibility for sales and business operations at the company's factories. Prior to this, Meyer held commercial responsibility for worldwide sales, later overseeing the business unit responsible for all company products. She has also held positions in sales operations planning, product procurement and directed the e-Supply Chain Management project. Meyer was also responsible for the transfer of production from a third-party vendor in Germany to factories in Curitiba, Brazil and Thessaloniki, Greece.
Meyer began her career at Siemens as a headquarters trainee at the Kraftwerk Union AG in Offenbach.
